Email domain check
Type a domain to check its SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX in one go: the four records that decide whether its email is trusted. The same check SendPath runs on every mailbox you connect.
One run checks SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX together.
What it checks
What the domain check looks at
Who may send
- SPF
- One v=spf1 record that lists your senders and ends in ~all or -all.
- DKIM
- A public key under the selectors most providers use, not revoked.
What happens to fakes
- DMARC
- A record at _dmarc with a policy: none to start, then quarantine or reject.
Where replies go
- MX
- Mail servers that accept mail for the domain, so replies reach you.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Why check all four records together?+
They work as a set: SPF and DKIM prove your mail is yours, DMARC tells receivers what to do when they don't, and MX makes sure replies reach you. A gap in any one hurts inbox placement.
Which record should I fix first?+
SPF and DKIM, because DMARC depends on them. Then add DMARC with p=none. The free record generator builds SPF and DMARC records for you.
Is the check stored anywhere?+
No. It looks up public DNS records and shows the answer. Nothing you type is saved.
